Tagalog Classes We Offer
Beginner - Conversational Tagalog Classes (ONLINE)
The Basic Conversational Class emphasizes practical phrases and grammatical strategies that will get you speaking confidently within days. The class will cover greetings and introductions, description of people and places, stating preferences or non-preferences, counting, shopping, telling time and basic usage of verbs. By the end of the class, students should be able to formulate sentences and be able to carry on a basic conversation with a native Tagalog speaker. Ages 15 and up. Register here.

Mondays, October 14 - November 25
(7 sessions); 6:00 pm - 7:30pm PDT, ONLINE, $160
Tuesdays, October 15 - December 3 (NO CLASS on November 05)

Tagalog Classes for Kids (ONLINE)
These classes are offered only in Summer and designed to teach Tagalog to children in a fun, effective and highly hands-on format. Grammar and conversation study will be combined with interactive & kinesthetic games, songs and storytelling in Tagalog for a richer immersion in the Filipino language and culture. Each class, while building upon past knowledge, also stands as a separate lesson--so kids can jump in and start learning at any time! Ages 6 - 11 welcome. Register here.

Continuing Beginner - Conversational Tagalog Classes (ONLINE)
The Continuing Beginner Conversational Class allows you to review, practice, and further build on the lessons from the previous basic session. This is also perfect for those with experience but need a refresher course. Special attention on grammar will be addressed. Prospective students will be assessed to make sure that their Filipino conversational skills, grammatical knowledge and application will qualify for this more advanced session. Ages 15 and up. We run the continuing class series when we get enough interest.Scheduled for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday - depending on students' availability.

Private and Semi-Private Tagalog Classes
Private one-on-one classes are structured to suit your level--we will cover conversation, grammar, with emphasis on practical phrases that are perfect for work/travel/personal enrichment. You can also organize semi-private classes with your friends and family and receive more individualized attention, and lots of speaking practice. Past clients include teens and children, Filipino-American professionals, soon-to-be US expatriates and executives with travel and business plans in the Philippines.
